I stared at myself in the mirror and whispered, “You said yes, Sophie. So walk like it.”
Then I left.
The coffee shop was warm and dimly lit, tucked on a quiet corner one street away from my apartment. I slid into the far booth like he told me, hands clasped tightly in my lap, scanning every face that walked in.
A few minutes later, my phone buzzed.
Private Room Service: Come outside, I’m waiting. Black Audi. Don’t keep me waiting, princess.
I exhaled shakily and grabbed my purse, pushing the door open with trembling fingers.
The Audi was parked under a streetlight. Sleek. Expensive. Polished like every part of him. He sat behind the wheel, one hand resting casually on the leather, the other on the gearshift.
I opened the passenger door, slid inside, and fastened my seatbelt without a word.
“You look stunning,” he said, voice low. “Are you nervous?”
I nodded once. “Yes.”
“Good.” He glanced over. “That means you care.”
We drove in silence after that. A soft hum of classical music filled the car, but all I could hear was my own heartbeat.
When we pulled through the iron gates, I nearly stopped breathing.
His estate was… massive. Gated, tree-lined, the kind of place that looked like it belonged in a movie. The house itself was modern and timeless all at once. Soft lights glowed in the windows, casting warm gold across the gravel path.
“Come,” he said simply, and led me inside.
The hallway smelled like cedarwood and something faintly smoky. Every surface was elegant, curated. This wasn’t just a house-it was a life built around control.
“Would you like something to drink?” he asked, pausing near the kitchen.
“No,” I said quietly. “Thank you.”
He nodded, pleased, and took my coat. “Follow me.”
We walked down a hallway that narrowed, each step more deliberate than the last. When we stopped in front of a matte black door, he turned to face me.
“Don’t be afraid. Not here. Not with me.”
Then he opened it and stepped into a different world.
My breath caught. It was like stepping into one of the books I hid under my pillow in college. Or one of the dreams I’d never dared to say out loud.
The room was lit in soft red and warm amber. The walls were lined with racks of tools-leather restraints, cuffs, paddles, silk blindfolds, canes, and ropes in every shade imaginable.
There was a wide bed against the far wall with black satin sheets. A St. Andrew’s cross stood at the center, gleaming under dim lighting.
Chains. Benches. Hooks. Velvet. Everything was crafted with such precision, it looked like an art gallery for sin.
“This is where I train,” he said. “Where I teach obedience. Pleasure. Restraint.” I stood frozen when he stepped behind me. “Undress. Slowly.”
I nodded and reached up, unfastening the coat, letting it slide off my shoulders. Then the bra. My hands were shaking. When I reached for the panties, his voice cut in. “Did I tell you to do that?”
I froze, hands halfway down. “No, sir,” I whispered.
He moved in front of me, dark eyes locked on mine. “You need to learn to listen, Sophie.”
I swallowed hard and nodded.
He stepped closer, brushing his knuckles over my cheek. “What’s your safe word?”
“Peaches,” I whispered.
He smiled, slow and dangerous. “Good girl.”
I stood still in the center of his red room, arms at my sides, chest bare and straining, the lace panties still clinging to my hips like a secret I hadn’t decided whether to keep.
The walls glowed like flame, low red lighting casting shadows that slithered along the floor like silent witnesses. Every breath I took smelled of worn leather, clean sweat, and something ancient-like desire that had lived here long before I had.
“You say you want to submit,” his voice came from behind me, low and composed like a sermon. “But you still hesitate. You still try to control. That ends tonight.”
His footsteps were soft, measured, each one louder than the last inside the wild beat of my chest. He guided me forward-fingers grazing my spine-and sat on the edge of a low padded bench. His legs parted when he patted his thigh once.
“Over my lap. Now.”
My heart tried to crawl up my throat, but my body moved anyway. I eased myself over his lap slowly, breath hitching as my cheek touched the cool leather cushion, the rest of me trembling as I felt his palm rest warm and steady on the curve of my ass.
“I’m not going to break you, Sophie,” he said, voice brushing over my skin. “But I will train you.”
Then the hand lifted-and came down. The first smack wasn’t brutal, but loud. Sharp. My skin stung with the echo, my body jerking instinctively.
The second landed harder. I gasped.
“Count,” he said firmly.
“…One.”
The third struck. Then the fourth, fifth, sixth-each one more searing than the last. I counted through clenched teeth, my voice getting breathier, my thighs twitching with the rush of heat.
“Seven…”
Tears prickled my eyes. Not from pain-though it bit deep-but from something else entirely. From the release. The precision. The way each strike stripped away a layer of armor I didn’t know I was still wearing.
“You’ve been so disobedient,” he murmured, rubbing the sting with slow, possessive fingers as the other hand slid up my spine. “You resist, trying fight me. But you want this. You’re hungry for it.”
His fingers moved to my jaw, tilted my face toward him until I could see his eyes-dark, calm, endless.
“Submission isn’t weakness,” he whispered. “It’s the deepest kind of power. And it starts with choice. I want you to choose me. Again. And again.”
I nodded, lips trembling.
He helped me up with deliberate hands, then walked me slowly toward the St. Andrew’s cross that stood in the center of the room like a crown of shadow. He didn’t speak as he fastened soft leather cuffs around my wrists and ankles.
I was exposed. Bound. Helpless. And completely burning for it.
“You’re doing well,” he said from behind, adjusting the buckles with clinical calm. “But you’re not mine yet. You follow commands, but you haven’t surrendered.”
A moment later, I heard the soft swish of the flogger.
“Breathe,” he reminded me. “And listen.”
The first lash landed like a question. The second, like punctuation.
By the fourth, I was whimpering, my body swaying gently against the restraints. The leather strands danced across my thighs, my back, my ass-stinging, soothing, scorching. He struck in rhythm with my breath, timing the pressure with masterful precision. It was a conversation without words.
“Still so tense,” he murmured, fingers brushing up the inside of my thigh. “You’re holding back.”
“I’m trying,” I whispered, dizzy with heat.
“That’s not enough.” The next lash cracked across the top of my thigh. I cried out. Again. “Say it,” he demanded.
“I want to let go,” I gasped, sobs catching in my throat. “I want you to take it.”
Another strike. And then another.
I moaned-half-broken, half-starved for more. My thoughts blurred at the edges, my body burning in places I couldn’t name. I was shaking-overstimulated, undone.
