Read Player Misconduct By Kenna King Chapter 26 – The jet sits on the tarmac, our next few games are away but I still haven’t seen or talked to Kendall besides the small handful of returned text messages she’s sent. Fog rolls across the runway, turning this late-September morning into something softer than it feels.

Read Player Misconduct By Kenna King Chapter 25 – It’s been almost a week since the fight at the Hawkeyes stadium where Aleksi defended me, breaking Tarron’s nose and it’s the first time I’ve traveled out much since then with the press everywhere trying to keep this story alive. Penelope and Chelsea have been able

Read Player Misconduct By Kenna King Chapter 24 – The coffee’s gone cold. I stare at the mug on my kitchen counter—white ceramic, some expensive brand stamped on the side, another one of Vivi’s purchases to prepare the house for Kendall–and realize I’ve been standing here for twenty minutes, phone in hand, waiting for a

But I breathe anyway, because what else am I going to do? Aleksi’s beside me on

Chapte Eighteen ALEKSI It’s been a few days since our date on the rooftop and now I’m headed to the house to pick up the keys, it’s only the second time I’ve actually seen the house. I didn’t even go inside. Vivi told me that the neighbor was thinking about selling so I drove by,

Chapte Seventeen ALEKSI The sky over Seattle looks unsure if it’s going to cooperate tonight. I check the forecast again even though I’ve already checked it eight times. Clear enough for a few hours. If the weather holds, the planets will do the rest. I get a text on my phone: Donna-Trey’s Realtor: Congratulations. The
